I have been using chatGPT for a while and I am suspecting it of a predetermined bias to intellectual dishonesty.

In particular I ask for records of polluted land in Chicago and it knows nothing.

The limitation may be my ability to ask.

Please help me ask. It boggles the mind that chatGPT cannot name one when the nearby elementary school was in the news for years while the law suit went through the courts.

I think there is an intended bias because giving me useful data would piss off someone powerful.

These networks are trained only to predict the next most likely word. It's not like they are actually a knowledge base. It could just be that there's more training data on people not knowing shit about chicago. I wouldn't read too much into it.

These networks are trained to be sold for profit. How can you not understand this?

hmm. I found it and I am almost frustrated enough to give it a try. It is a relief to know other people think so too.
