The movie could have sucked throughout, but the ending made up for it, or the movie was good throughout, and the ending just killed it.

Inception.

I thought that the movie was pretty good throughout, but its ending felt like perfect kind of ending for the story it was telling.

Can't really think of a movie at the moment that killed it for me.

A tv show immediately sprang to mind though. HIMYM.

Game of thrones

I liked Corpse Bride, but other than the bad guy getting what he deserved, the rest of the ending was bullshit.

I like everything about No Country For Old Men except the ending. Not even saying its a bad ending, just didnt do it for me personally.

Made it: Us and Them (Chinese) - I enjoyed the film throughout, but the ending fucking pushes it way over the edge. Ive never seen a movie that covered this subject matter in such a realistic but meaningful way. The credits are actually great too.

Ruined it: So many Shyamalamadingdong movies, but Glass takes the cake for not only ruining itself but also ruining one of his only good movies (Unbreakable) and a movie Im told is fine but Ive never seen (Split).

I was all happy that cap survived, because I didnt want the avengers to become a bunch of B-listers and then right at the very last minute of the movie lol kidding dude quit

The Life of David Gale.

One of the most profoundly stupid endings I have ever seen.

Brazil. The ending is just perfect for all the context, but of course Hollywood wanted something lighter. Through Gilliams efforts he was able to release the cut he intended.

So, depending on which version you see, it can be excellent, or just falls flat completely.
