If you have any of his old food left, try mixing it with the new; as long as it's the same texture, he should be interested. Ya, that is not an easy situation. Your cat might be being a brat. But they do have a very specific food regiment. Some of his brattiness is coming from that. But ya, that can be tough. If your cat is chomping on it though that is good.
