Semi auto shotguns (that are reliable) are out of most people's price range. Also they tend to have a lower capacity and higher recoil than something like a pistol caliber carbine or AR-15. Pros: they tend to be one shot stops hitting center mass from normal home defense range with any respectable load. You come and and give people some of the worst advice for home defense (a .410/.45 caliber 5 shot revolver with bad QC and loading it with different recoiling/effective loads) and then go to make a bunch of anti 2A statements. Like you're doing it on purpose. Call and sign up for a pistol class by literally any reputable instructor that allows revolvers and tell them you want to use a Taurus judge and use .410 shells and see how much they laugh. A Judge is only good for snakes. The SW Governor might be a decent idea if you were a handloader because it can shoot spicy .45LC and it is scandium alloy so lighter so makes sense for bears (I wouldn't shoot handloads out of any Taurus) but even then there are better options. The only reason I could see someone buying a Governor is for outdoorsmen who handload and who run up on a lot a snakes AND have odds of running up on a grizzly (could carry 45 in a moon clip for bears and pop it out and put in a clip of shot shells if you ran up on danger noodle).
