Take a breath, man. Obviously one artist isnt indicative of your love for the entire genre. You know that, and nobody said otherwise, so that part can stop.

Baby metal has guitar, drum, bass, key, and vocal backing tracks. You can get fucked up and ignorant about it, but it's what it is, and metalheads tend to want to see a good instrumental performance. These are obvious reasons some metalheads wouldnt be all that into Babymetal, but feel free to pretend like it's something else.

I want Babymetal to tour the UK more so I can actually come to a show >_>

I believe the flow of discussion was a couple people simply indicated they did not like Babymetal, and then Babymetal fans got riled up about gatekeeping as though theres no valid reason to dislike them

I guess that's probably demeaning in terms of "traditional" metal groups, but it's just what they are.

They're prancy as fuck and they have tracks on drums, guitars, vocals, bass, and keys. This doesnt typically line up with what metal dudes are going to be into, was more my point.

It's like theres this "shame" that some people (in this thread) are trying to flex to get over. The band is what it is. If it gets you off, keep listening, dont go slinging names around out of insecurity.
