Episode 1 and 2 was kinda boring. Nothing really happens, even if its not meant to be an action packed series, it doesnt really build up suspense or anything.

I also dont like how it constantly switches back and forth from present time and the past on Kenari. Is there a name of this type of story telling in film making? They try to make it line up n stuff at the end of episode 3 and it just feels forced. I prefer a linear time line and then have some flash backs but not this flipping back and forth constantly.

Anyway, its picked up on this episode, hopefully it'll continue at this pace for the rest of the show.

How does everyone else feel about this show?

The whole show felt like a lot happens, but at the same time nothing happens.

The first 2-3 are slow but it gets really fucking good after that imo.

This.
It starts of as yet another "sorta criminal joins the Rebels" story, but quickly turns into a deep-dive on the inner workings and politics of the Empire. Something we've never seen in the movies and I absolutely loved it once it became that. I've always lamented the fact that we never got to see what the capital planet was like under Imperial rule or how regular people from all walks of life lived under that rule. We mostly stuck to Outer Rim planets during the OT and ST.
