or sleep maybe, close your eyes? I prob. prefer to read. See some others do this too when i fly

I'd be happy to sleep, but there's no way I actually would, so I watch a movie or play a game.

I like to read, nap, or pull out a Switch/Steam Deck if I'm flying.

However, for the last couple of years my flights have consisted of trying to pacify a baby and just survive the travel time without ruining other people's experiences. So far we've been successful with that at least.

I prefer to read pretty much everywhere.

If I'm going to be somewhere and have to wait more than maybe 5 minutes or so (on a plane, on a train, in a doctor's office waiting room, at DMV, etc) I bring a book along and read.

The only problem now is that, as I'm getting older, my near vision is getting a bit weaker, so I'm actually having trouble reading (I'm probably going to need reading glasses or bifocals). But I'd still rather do it instead of anything else.

Usually I watch one of the movies on the Headrest screen from their entertainment module...sometimes I nod off or take a short nap.

But the Flights I take isn't really that long...usually about 2hrs (NYC to MIA)

Movies, its usually the highlight of flying for me since they usually have some pretty recent movies.

Maybe some of the provided reading material, but I usually prefer to gaze out the window, tune into the movie, or doze off to some music.

It's hard for me to say. I guess it depends on my condition. I have trouble sleeping on planes, and my severe motion sickness prevents me from reading. I always need to take pills for motion sickness before getting on a plane. The side effect of the pills is drowsiness. If I took pills and don't feel too drowsy, I think I prefer to read.

On my last trip I brought a puzzle book (I'm into word searches) along with my cellphone and a backup power source for the phone, which came in handy since all the charging stations at the airports both to and from my destination were constantly occupied. When not engrossed in either a video or my puzzles, I dozed a little but, since there were kids on board, not for long.

Depends. If I'm doing a transoceanic flight, I usually have a few different methods of entertainment with me - a couple of game consoles, my laptop with some movies, a couple books, etc. I find ways to pass the time.

For anything less than four hours or so, it's usually just listening to music, maybe with a little reading or gaming mixed in.

Sleep, because I want it to be over with. Plus, it's hard to concentrate on reading in that kind of a setting.

Haven't flown in about... 15 years, though, so it's kind of moot. Probably never going to fly again, if I can help it.

I prefer to sleep.
