They never brought in extra help from outside aside from Woolie and Liam, and they were cohosts, not employees. They were trying so hard to keep current and do daily uploads that I'm pretty sure their playthrough of several games (such as The Last of Us) had its first episode uploaded on release day, and it wasn't an advance copy. So in that short period they bought the game, recorded, AND edited. I also have a theory that they had creative differences on how they wanted the channel to progress; Pat clearly wanted to continue doing Let's Plays as they had been, as evidenced by his transition over to a Twitch stream, but Matt must have wanted to do more edited and scripted things like his What Happened? series. It also really seemed like the two of them were starting to grate more and more as the channel went on; their personalities probably didn't gel as well off camera as they did on camera. It also really seemed like the two of them were starting to grate more and more as the channel went on; their personalities probably didn't gel as well off camera as they did on camera. The video with Woolie announcing the breakup was uploaded instead. Iunno there was definitely some sort of blowup or fight that triggered it but we'll never know for sure I suppose.
