going from the steaming turd that is God of War Ragnarok to the 10/10 RE4 Remake has been jarring, it's clear that 95% of games coming out these days are total crap so why not just continue to remake the actual good games from years ago with better graphics and controls?

Midnight Suns was the most fun I've had with a game in probably a year, it's like XCOM with Slay the Spire style card physics. Game sold for shit and not a lot of people played it.
