Man its starts challenging. Im a bit rusty as well but yeh, I turned off classic mode pretty quick, game is clearly designed for the unlimited lives for the first run st least.

But liking it this far, first boss was fun

It's a good game if you just play to reach the end. 100% is ridiculous though.

Off Beat in particular is an amazing level, both design-wise and gameplay-wise.

I still haven't finished it. I started it after it was a PS Plus game, but then something else came out and I never went back to it. It was also very frustrating. A little better when you give up on breaking all the crates though.

I dunno that it's fair to call it 80% of the game. It's basically extra collectathons slapped on top of the existing levels. It might make up a big portion of the in-game % tracker, but in terms of actual content it's not that much of an addition.

And yeah, the original trilogy did this too, but to a far more reasonable extent. Crash 4 just takes it way too far.

Outside of that kind of stuff though, my only real criticism is that the rail grinding felt a bit overused.
