Summoner is usually the opposite, generally being weak early and an absolute monster late. The rest, I agree with. I used to main Monk but switched to Gunbreaker because they changed Monk too much. I don't really remember the monks before FF4 so I am starting there FF4: Monk sucks, one of the worst chars in the game FF5: Monk is pretty good early, but falls off hard FF6: Same as above tbh, good early, falls of hard FF7: Pretty much always sucks FF8: Monk is finally the best in the game, and pretty indisputably so FF9: Monk sadly took a fall here and is back down to one of the worst FF10: There isn't really a monk in this game FF12: Monk is definitely a top tier class here FFT: A very strong class, but in a game with a lot of very strong classes.
