It's a myth that republicans are the party of law and order or the party that backs the blue.

I miss the halcyon days of peak Daily Show, where we all believed with stars in our eyes that constantly pointing out that Republicans have no standards beyond the double variety would actually guilt them into bettering themselves.

Sort of off topic but a thought occurred to me today. Why do politicians who run against republicans respond to all the stupid allegations with "uhh no here's why you're wrong (proof and facts and logic chuds wouldn't understand)"

Like say a chud tells me that protecting the LGBT means god is going to strike down everyone and we're going to hell. I would be like "Let it happen then. If your definition of god is correct, let it happen and let us be the fools. Let your god absolve you from any blame and let us die and suffer in the fires you think will come for us. Let it fucking happen"

Knowing that God and Jesus are actually loving and do not hate anything but sin itself, like genuine sin, I can speak all the "blasphemy " I want and not have to worry about anything. I have a feeling I know who Jesus would support. I know what I have to answer to.

More people need to embrace the "Idgaf about your definition of god" philosophy and stop being afraid to speak out. Let the conservatives talk themselves into their own judgement.

The refusing to bring religion or spirituality into debates with conservatives doesn't work as well as people think it does. They only operate on the understanding that everybody but them are going to hell for not listening to them. You nip that out of the way, they have nothing else to fall back on. Show them right then and there that it is bullshit. Embrace the religion argument, not shy away from it.

I get you. But my point being is that the modus operandi for most conservatives is religion, but the issue itself is their interpretation of their own damn religion is wrong and can be easily refuted as such.

It would help if politicians running opposed to conservatives did the research on that.

I dont think they have the ability to recognize when they might be caught in a hypocritical situation in regards to religion, and instead will just lash out.

Judas hanged himself and returned the silver if I recall so it's likely he did regret it. Personally a repentant Judas finding salvation makes for a more compelling story.
