As with the first one a little over a year ago, it's not a very large showcase, and very little of it is actually news, since Yokaze is a particularly minor indie label... but also among my favourites. They're helping push the doujin/smaller Japanese indie game scene in an incredible direction, and the games they've published are by and large also some of my favourites in recent years... and I suppose the coming year too. Of course they're not the only gaming initiative pushing in this way currently, or even arguably the most significant in their own respective scene, but what they've helped create so far is pretty inspirational (functioning both as one of the most finely curated indie labels for some of the most emotional, memorable and beautiful yet nostalgic indie releases lately, and as a collective to make it easier for the devs of them collaborate on projects). Also they picked up MINDHACK this time, so, neat.

I'd like to see more groups work with them, like perhaps Alto-tascal (who recently did Open The Door: A Short Story About Life), Summertime (who are currently working on Silence of Switchblade), Drecom (devs of the upcoming Tokyo Stories), or even Haikyo Dot (the devs of Pixel Ruins which has sadly apparently had development stalled for the last few years, so it'd be nice if they could get some help...) among others. I can think of others I'd have also have liked to have been promoted by them, such as the upcoming releases from Jitensha Sougyou (Anosuba HD), qbert (Retro Game Aliens) or illuCalab (EDEN.schemata) but they're already in good hands with their current publishers, so eh.
