Honestly I think Marianne is the best waifu in terms of compatability with myself. But in terms of looks, Hilda is for sure the most attractive.

It's fine but I do agree I prefer her original hair more. Though more than that, I like her 3 Hopes look. It's cute but still fits her character.

like 23. Just had my final battle with her. I could still use her in my remaining paralogues but it felt pointless so I kept her around for fodder. Then I finished the month off and spared her life. Right after that whole scene, Hilda joined my party. Now I need to reclass her so I can make her a Wyvern Lord.

I'm close to the time skip. Am I going to lose all my Lost Items and Gifts? I have everyone to B support (except for Rhea who I sadly missed out on) and everyone recruited but I don't want to waste anything.

You don't lose any resources during the time skip. Thought IDK about stuff you have in the inventories of certain characters that leave during certain routes (Edelgard + Hubert in Silver Snow or Flayn in Crimson Flower for example).

I was able to take everything away from Edelgard but Hubert it just said unavailable. I barely used him anyway,

Dang, that's a lot of levels. My Edelgard in my current run was at level 24 before the timeskip and I'm actively using her for Crimson Flower. My Hubert was also around that level though so I'd have still lost more.

Yeah, you don't lose anything in timeskips besides any 100% motivation levels (everyone gets reset to 50% yellow smiley faces). In fact, every weapon and battalion that's inside a character's inventory gets replenished after the timeskip (not any in the convoy though). You do lose the inventory of characters that leave.

Even in the monastery? I could still organize Hubert's stuff at the monastery, just not inside any battle preparation screen.

Also, yeah, it's a shame you didn't get A rank with Rhea in Silver Snow since from what I heard that's the one route where getting an A rank with her matters. I actually got A rank with her in my current CF run so I can feel good about making her final moments with Byleth happy before he betrays her lol. Let me tell you, it was actually pretty tough hitting the deadline for her support requirements while simultaneously trying to recruit 6 students from other houses at once.

I think the same thing you get for recruiting in any other route, you get unique dialogue for them in the monastery. Also some unique boss dialogue for having certain characters face off against characters they're familiar with. It seems there actually isn't much characters to face off against in Silver Snow so that's why I'm using the Ashen Wolves on that route.

The C and B ranks are on a tight schedule for Rhea. You only get chapters 5-9 for C rank conversation, 6-9 for B rank and 11-12 for A rank. Since 12 is battle only on CF you only have that one chapter to get A rank. You can still get support points before those chapters to build up for it at least. And any support in CF is completely useless lol.

Speaking of Ashen Wolves, do their exam seals unlock after the time skip? I recently got one automatically after Marianne got B rank in riding. The only Ashen Wolf I unlocked was Constance and she came equipped with one but I didnt have much interest in unlocking the rest. I know you can unlock more things after chapter 13 but Abyss is mostly a chore for me.

I would consider Silver Snow Edelgard levels a waste. She's one of your absolute best units during that time and pre-timeskip is generally harder than post-timeskip as you have less builds online. She's also one of the few units during that time with any EP potential. Like don't go hard in her investment but using her is a lot easier than saving the experience.

Each member of the Ashen Wolves comes with one Abyssal Seal when recruited. You can get more from the shrine in the Abyss.

She was probably one of your top 3 units for half the game. That makes her certainly better than SS!Hilda who will be an average unit for half the game.
