Specifically subreddits for things that are disappointments, bad or otherwise letdowns for whatever reason.

Like I get it a thing is released, a game or movie or whatever, and for whatever reason you hate it, not just hate it you feel personally let down and disappointed because it didn't live up to the hype, or ruined the previous installment, or whatever. So you're upset, angry and want to vent so you go to the relevant sub and you spill all your thoughts about why the thing is shit, or wrong or whatever and you feel vindicated when people agree with you and shout down anyone who disagrees.

But then... what of these people that stay on these subs and just post near daily years later about how the thing is shit and you still hate it. I'm thinking the Cyberpunk sub here, the Last of Us 2 one too. Like what motivates someone to stay there just to slap each other on the back about how shit you still find the game, how it's awful it was allowed to happen, etc. How many years before you're over it? How many posts will be enough?

I find it all very strange.
