Dominion was fucking awful. Not even the original trio could save it.

It was fine. Stop expecting something deep or smart or whatever and just enjoy the zany dinosaur chases. It's fun to watch.

Except the dinosaurs were barely an afterthought in the movie. The movie was a mission impossible movie with dinosaurs in the background.

I flippin' did! It was fun and the new characters were cool as hell and the dino scenes were good even if there weren't enough of them! >:0

See, I went into it with this approach, but it just really fell short for me.

The story was fine. The dinosaur with the bad eyesight and long claws was intriguing. The throwback references weren't annoying. The cast having so many previous characters... I was looking forward to that the most and I think it ruined the movie because of how hard it trivialized literally every other character.

That's interesting. I really liked the pilot and the Ramsay dude. And the villain was plenty loathsome. But seeing Grant, Saddler, and Malcolm again was really cool lol.

It didn't have anywhere near enough dinos

I don't remember the pilot and Ramsay (I remember a dude that helped out the main characters and I assume that's Ramsay but I really don't remember anything about him). As for the villain, ehhh he wasn't new. He was a cameo in the original Jurrassic Park movie and a background character in the book who was the main villain in the sequel, which was VERY different from the movie sequel. In any case, JWD turned him into steve jobs and did nothing else to explore his character :/).

It had some nice scenes like the dino outbreak in the city and perhaps the most varied amount of dinos in a JP movie, but the plot was dogshit and the movie overall boring. Got a big kick out of the therizinosaur and deinonycus.

The pilot was the hot chick who was cool as hell and I think they probably say her name once when she's introduced and then never again, cuz I never learned what it was. Ramsay was the hot new guy who helps them out. I might have his name wrong cuz I haven't seen the movie since it came out.

And yeah, I know the villain was a returning character. And that the second book has fuck all to do with the second movie. Like literally they have one scene in common. Also the title and the protagonist, but nothing else. That was weird lol.

The biggest disappointment is that after 5 movies set in isolated jungle islands to have dinosaurs they used Fallen Kingdom to justify dinosaurs in any location and what do they do?

The go BACK to the an isolated jungle island! (Not technically a island but it is functionally and aesthetically the same.)

They didnt even do anything with the premise of being forced to coexist with dinosaurs. Instead they have to race to stop super locusts from eating the wheat supply of the world. Then for no reason they try to redeem Dr. Wu because he decided maybe destroying the world is a bad thing and he is just an innocent little mad scientist.

It gets big points in my eyes for fucking finally having the dilophosaurus do something since the first movie.
