This is illegal by the way. You cannot call a business line and attempt to solicit an individual.

call her back on your cell after work. nothing wrong with keeping your options open. you owe your current employer nothing but your 8 hours 5 days a week.

My work phone is borked and doesn't show what number is calling. I left my email address with her though

In America it's always illegal to robodial a cell phone unless it's political spam. The guys who wrote the rules exempted themselves from them of course.

Thinking about it, I got an anonymous call earlier in the day. Not sure if it might be related to that

That is so inappropriate and unprofessional. I dont even message people at their work email. Cant imagine trying to call them using their work number.
