That's what they've always done. One of the first things they did post reconstruction was start restricting the rights of southern blacks to own firearms. Made it to easy to defend themselves from lynchings.

California was an open-carry state until the Black Panthers armed themselves to protect their neighborhoods. Scared the absolute shit outta Governor Reagan and other important white folks, they abolished that shit with a quickness after that.

It shames me that dude is from San Diego like me but is from an area full of Karens and racists.

Remember that they swear by Reagan but he passed one of the most prolific gun control laws in the country. Oh, right. It was primarily meant to target African Americans.

yep. ironically the only way any level of sensible gun laws are ever passed are if conservatives see minorities attempting to enjoy the same rights they have.
