Which one should I go for? Roseanne, or Frasier?

Roseanne was really good for the time, especially if you disregard the last season. Some of the pop culture/issues of the time will feel a little off, but if this isn't your first time dipping into older shows (assuming you didn't watch when it was new) it probably won't be off-putting. Frasier was probably funnier when it was funny, but the laughs weren't quite so frequent.

Oh, I didn't consider suggesting one of my own. If you want a slightly younger option, there's a whole bunch of Saved by the Bell.

Seinfeld

Just seconding this as it's probably the only one worth watching.

I don't know if I would really call it "long running", but I always enjoyed News Radio.

I really like the sense of humor in Roseanne. It has more serious, dramatic moments than many sitcoms, but it's overall warm hearted and funny.

As long as you ignore the last episode, which the reboot/sequel series evidently did.

You mean Home Improvement. Tool Time was the name of the show Tim Taylor hosted. As for the topic at hand, I always suggest Titus though its from 2000-2002, or IT Crowd (2006-2010). As for shows that were running during the 90s, Family Matters, Saved By The Bell, or if you want a bit of an odd suggestion Red/Green Show.

If you want to watch a show with the cast dynamics of Friends, but actually laugh at the jokes, watch "Living Single" instead.

These except Raymond as it's painfully unfunny

Oooh, yes, this. *Living Single* was on for a long time and it was good.

Seconding Third Rock, too. I watched it not too long ago on one of the streaming services, and it still holds up.

Don't bother with any "Family Sitcom" from the 90s or 2000s other than Roseanne.

All the other ones are just ripoffs of the Honeymooners.

Goofball husband, Sassy wife, even goofier sidekick.

Red/Green Show.

This is like comfort food and the entire show is on YouTube. I dunno how well it would resonate with someone who didn't grow up with it though.
