So what else did they cut beyond the one annoying boss fight in the game and the QTE sections people always complained about?

Im aware of Assignemt Ada. I can live without 30 minutes there. And Separate Ways was dlc. >_> Not sure why people expected that to be included.

It's looking bad if you are very upset about the following

1 boss
1 weapon type
2 goofy moments
1 post game mode

Otherwise it's a modern take on a very popular 2005 game, and it appears to do what it set out to do

It looks amazing. The demo played amazing. It's going to be GOTY.

Maybe play the demo and form your own opinion?

I get its nitpicky but i understand why someone would be upset at a remake cutting content. At least add different or new content.

DLC? That shit was all included in the PS2 version of the game, before DLC was even a thing. If they can't include everything from a nearly 20 year old game-- likely because they're cheap & will try to get more money out of people later-- then they fucking suck.

Confuses me that people wouldn't expect a retuned game to cut some content.

Why would a modern remaster not include all the DLC/PS2 exclusive content? can't keep letting companies making soulless remakes that have less content than the original.

And I'd guess the laser completely apropos of nothing.

Assignment Ada was pretty much filler anyway and didnt add much of value quality wise. Just replaying some areas with Ada with some bits of codec dialogue.

if youve never played RE4 its probably 60 bucks well spent.

I can't believe Dead Space got rid of the shitty Asteroids minigame and now gives you every weapon instead of making you build them

The game plays considerably differently from the original and is rebuilt from the groundup. To call this barebones or compare it to TLOU remake is stupid.

The biggest loss is the modes as that's more content to play through, but I would wager that it will become dlc, and it shouldn't take as long to make.

The other is basically the time between krausers QTE fight and the start of krausers labyrinth fight. Another loss, but one is a boss+2 small rooms lasting about 30 mins vs a optional 5 hour campaign + 1 hour campaign

Its not a remaster. Its a remake. And its clearly not soulless based on the high praise its already getting.
