The more I play KOTOR 2, the stranger this gets.
-Kreia is not only in the party at all times except Korriban and the end, but you're encouraged to use her for how busted she is with the force bond and the extra EXP skill. She's the first character you deal with and gets billing as the final boss.
-Darth Nihilus is on the front cover, characters ominously warn you of his arrival. They give him this cool ghost ship and the whole Ravager chapter near the end. His force drain power is made out to be a big thing.

And then you got Darth Sion. Black-clad Scottish (near) cyclops.
This guy seems to have achieved immortality and has ties to both of the other two leading Sith but it feels like there's this total lack of gravitas to him. Literally the part that made the biggest impression on me was when the Sith terminal says Detention committee will arrive to administer punishment shortly or something, you walk back through the hallway and just see him ominously standing still at the end of it. It's cool but I still can't stop comparing him to Raikou awkwardly trying to look cool between Suicune's game and Entei's movie.

There's even a part in the restoration where Atton flees from Kreia then stops and goes "Oh it's just Homer Simpson, I got this." and kicks his ass. Meanwhile Visas and Mandalore seem to be the only party members allowed to get one over on Nihilus and it's treated like a great struggle. After that Kreia solos most of the party in about a minute.

I see people using the phrase Sith Triumvirate which makes me think this guy's meant to be a big deal rather than one of Kreia's embittered failed chump-tier projects. Is there a secret collective of NPCs I haven't spoken to who'll make him sound like a somebody?
