Yeah it was a good first effort, I enjoyed it and was pretty hooked until I finished.

Yeah I enjoyed it quite a bit. A few friends of mine thought it was shallow and disappointing but I don't really get the complaints.

It's a fun game, it just has a very shallow/crappy progression system, no gear, kind of boring abilities available. you only meet like 6 people the whole game. the story is super quick.

worst of all, since theres no gear, there's virtually no incentive for me to new game +. i couldnt really care less about cosmetics

It's a solid start to a new series, I think my main issue was how useless the collectables are. Give me incentive to find these lightsaber customization pieces because I sure as shit can't actually see them during gameplay lol

It was a weird feeling when I finished it. The production value was great and it played very well, but it felt like it came up short or felt lacking in a lot of parts.

I will be playing the sequel though because it feels like they have a good thing going with it.

I couldn't get into it. I wanted to feel like a powerful badass, like in The Force Unleashed (note: I'm not saying I expected the gameplay to be the same), and it didn't give that feeling.

This. The exploration was fun but it leading to some poncho or ship color swap felt so unrewarding lol

this is why i beat the game then just stopped. i might go back in just for trophies but i don't have much other incentive to collect like different emitters that i can barely see and have no tangible effect

right like don't get me wrong, it's a fun game. but it just felt like it never quite got there. it almost felt like an extended demo lol. i beat it on the 2nd hardest difficulty in under 20hrs steam time, so that includes pausing and minimizing, and getting the majority of the collectibles.

i'll probably play the sequel too but it doesn't seem like they're gonna do much to fix the core issues. it's flashy it just isn't deep enough like, at all.
