The whole Katamari Damacy series.

They're called puzzle-action games, but at literally no point did I feel like I was solving a puzzle.

I was just collecting shit and getting bigger. I guess the special objectives kind of count as puzzles, but again, they don't feel like it.

The old God of War? 3D Action is the category I lump all Hack-and-Slash games in. Like DMC, Bayonetta, Lollipop Chainsaw, GoW, etc. If a game has more adventure/exploration aspects too, and isnt just a beat em up, I call it a 3D ActionAdventure. Includes Zelda, GTA, the ps1 Tomb Raiders, Assassins Creed, Batman Arkham, etc.

The new ones. It has character lvs, stat growth and customization on par with any rpg. And with a wealth of adventure/world exploration aspects with puzzles on top of it. But it's labeled as action adventure only. At least on this site and most other presumably.

When honestly it's more of a action rpg then the final fantasy remake based on your criteria.
