I liked it. It's a bit too long for such a simple gameplay but it's a serviceable sekiro knock-off. Music is good, maps are alright and cutscenes are cool. Should be half the price they charge on steam though. Might as well get Sekiro or Nioh 2 for that price.

doesn't run great on ps4 either.

aside from that the combat is way more loose then what I was expecting. sure it'd be more satisfying with a stable frame rate but it overall seems off. hits don't really have an impact

I feel you TC. While I love a good parry combat system, this game feels like it took two steps back from what they had going with Nioh to achieve it.

Combat is just... basic? Too basic. I think that is my feeling of it.

I also hated the moral system in the demo and still hate it in the main game. Locking certain spells out until you get to a certain moral level just locks you out of combat options in an all ready very limited combat action game.

I'm enjoying it but it's also incredibly easy once you realize deflecting while guarding doesn't negate the guard. This is the easiest 'soulslike' to cheese I've ever played.

Also the enemy AI and the companion AI are as dumb as a sack of bricks. Half of my encounters have me wondering why no one is attacking me, and the other half have me wondering why everyone is attacking me at every angle all at once lol

You really need to want to engage on the combat style of the game. By that I mean attacking/parrying all to build up to a massive attack. Or just parry and wait for the big attack. It's really...I dunno, passive?
