Letting you all know that super Mario run on Android is now only $5. Half the price. It's the first time I ever seen it on sale. The $10 price tagged kept some people away. But I feel for $5 it's worth to pick it up. I just downloaded it now in Google play. At least it's cool to have a Mario game on Android. And a new one too. Anyone else gonna jump on the sale price?

Yeah its pretty great. I got it a couple years ago and still pick it up now and again.

Thanks then. I'll be checking it out soon on my phone. Still surprised they released a new Mario game at all for Android. I know it been out a long time ;but I'll be happy to have Mario on my phone as a portable once more

Can't believe so many people online were complaining hardcore about the game being $10. Yet these are the same people who will buy a Mario game on switch for $60. Also think back to when we was young and our parents got us a Gameboy and bought Mario games for us. They were probably like $40 or something. Yet the graphics in those pale in comparison to super Mario run that's only now $5

By the way how is Bowser still keep kidnapping princess peach after like 40 years? You'd think they would install a lot of security in the castle by now

Wasn't it just a cheap F2P game? Did they swap to F2S at some point? Either way, it was fairly meh.

I haven't tried Mario kart yet on my android. But it's free to play if you wanna just try it out. I think these two games are the only Nintendo games on android

My problem with Mario Run is that the demo didn't really give me the feeling of a ten dollar game. Runners had been a thing for ages by the time it came out and it didn't seem to offer anything special that you couldn't get for free on like, Newgrounds or something lol.

I have no problem dropping 10+ dollars on mobile games but Mario Run felt like the worst possible title to test that pricing model on.

Yeah, I'm mad that gamers are causing their own downfall as well. All games are going to be lootbox simulators in about 20 years I'd say, as people spend tens of thousands of dollars to get their favorite 2d png.

Ive mentioned to my friends several times over the years how its weird that my brain is wired to think paying even 99 for an app is too much money, but Ill buy $60 games without a moment of hesitation. It is just what Ive been conditioned to, I guess.

With that said, I did buy Mario Run for $5 last week. Havent gotten around to playing much of it yet, but I also recognize that this is the equivalent of Nintendo marking a $60 game down to $10. That just dont do it often.

I got it because I need the Platinum Points before the eShop closes

I still havent been able to get 300 coins to unlock the star-8 level on world 5-1. Most I got was 296 and I gave up for the most part lol. I havent played the star levels yet either cause I wanted to unlock them all before I attempt to 100% them. I still jump into the remix or online play now and again.
