Which?

I have a very vivid memory of being 4 years old in a video store and seeing Obi-Wan disable the Death Star's tractor beam in the (presumably) Special Edition release of A New Hope, since it was 1997

AFAIK I had never been exposed to Star Wars at that point but it has been stuck in my head like a thorn ever since.

But my first full length Star Wars movie was The Phantom Menace. I was 6 yo at release. Idk if I asked to see it or if I was just attending with my mom.

Later that year I got the Podracer game for N64 and I've been a SW fan ever since.

I'm pretty sure as a kid I watched Empire Strikes Back on HBO before I saw the original in its entirety. I think the first time I watched Star Wars it was shown on CBS one night.

I watched the 1995 release of A New Hope (and the rest of the trilogy) on VHS in 2015. The first one I saw in a theater is The Force Awakens.

I believe the very original ones wayyy back VHS. Even then I never got the appeal. Then recently-ish Rogue One since I don't want to invest all that time, boring af except for the scene. Then I tried a couple Mando eps and goddamn what a fucking slog. They should make an R rated series / movies with John Wick / Dredd / Raid people and some competent writers, maybe I'll actually get invested

My parents took me with them to see Empire Strikes Back when I was a year old, the first movie they ever took me too. First one I remember watching is New Hope though.

Don't remember, but I'm pretty sure it was one of the OT. I like star wars, but it was never a favorite.

I saw Star Wars in a second-run theater's double feature for 99... back in 1977. I was 4 at the time.

I remember not being able to see past the person sitting in front of me, so I had to sit in my mother's lap.

And that the second feature was Robin William's Popeye. Which was truly awful.

ANH. The scene where Luke finds his uncle and aunt's remains is one of my earliest memories. It spooked the crap out of me.

But Popeye was a 1980 film. December of 80.

Huh. Maybe that was how I saw the Empire Strikes Back?

I definitely remember seeing the Death Star blow up, having to sit on my mother's lap to watch the movie, and thinking the X-Wing fighters were the coolest thing I've ever seen.
