Yeah Schreier pointed out in his follow up tweet that a delay like this is just going to be for polish - it won't solve the problem that caused the huge negative reaction to the recent showing since it's literally the core of the game that people don't like.

Really does feel like they want to just release at the safest time possible to recoop. Who wants to shoot a GUN as fucking Captain BOOMERANG, much less King Shark.

Gotta be honest, even without the fundamentally garbage core gameplay, the concept sucks. Regardless of whose actually fighting or the justification, "let's fight evil superheroes" is some of the most played out dredge imaginable.
