All in the name of climate change because they are now consider as major polluters.

Thousands of Belgian and Dutch farmers are being sacrificed on the altar of climate change. They are losing their livelihoods as their governments crack down on emissions of nitrogen oxide (from manure) and the use of ammonia in fertilization.
Peter Imanuelsen, a Swedish journalist, wrote on Twitter, The [Dutch] government has decided to essentially seize 3000 farms in order to meet new climate goals. They did the same thing in the Soviet Union.
Like many others in the European agricultural sector, he now finds himself phased out because of the governments pursuit of net zero emissions by 2050. Will American farmers and consumers suffer the same ruinous fate?
With last years Inflation Reduction Act now funneling $20 billion of climate funds into agriculture, American farmers could face similar pressures.

The EU has forced a farmer to "pull the plug" on his familys 90-year-old dairy farm after he was deemed a "peak polluter". Following a three-year battle with the Dutch government to protect his business, Hans van Wijk will have to demolish his barn to stop him from keeping cattle. The order is part of the governments attempts to hit EU pollution targets.

Mr van Wijk, whose farm is within the EUs Natura 2000 protected region, shared the devastating moment he closed the old farm on Facebook.
On Friday, he said: "Tonight was the last time we milked our cows. After 90 years, this is it for the organic dairy sector. We arent allowed to continue because we were labelled a 'peak polluter. We fought for 3 years."

I only post the first few paragraphs for the first two articles. You can read the rest if you want. The second article sickens me. Imagine a family dairy farm that's been there for almost a century all of a sudden being force to completely shut down because the government thinks that they are major contributors to pollution and climate change.

Most of these farmers are force out of their livelihood and it's only going to get worse. Prices of food will go up in those countries and people are going to starve as well.

I know this has been going for over a year and longer, but it's really gone from bad to worse.
