Why would you want to unsee Kim?

People make all kinds of Malcolm in the Middle jokes about Bryan Cranston in Breaking Bad, but that doesn't even slightly detract from his performance in the show.

If anything, it's an enhancement.

I personally love it when a creator has a list of 'favorite' actors and other crew members to work with. It means they mesh well creatively and believe they do good work together. Keeps morale up when the people involved are actually on good terms with one another, too. As an audience, you can usually 'feel' whether or not an actor is actually invested in the film they're making, and I think working with familiar people contributes greatly to that.
