You have an additional inquiry. And your average age of accounts go down. SHRlKE 03/07/23 7:28:36 PM #64:	Im sure people know but the credit score is a bit of a myth in that when you apply for credit the lenders have access to the underlying data behind the scores and will apply their own criteria. While a high score is usually indicative of someone having a good chance of taking out credit in general its not a guarantee and each lender will have different criteria they care about so its not the be all and end all. Also a lot of those products to help increase your credit score number are a scam just for people who assume a larger number is better which isnt necessarily the case.
