Mad-Dogg 03/04/23 5:23:08 AM #2:	Yeah, I bought a switch like a week before super mario odyssey came out. My first 3 games was blaster master zero, battle chef brigade, and mario kart 8 deluxe. I remember legit being surprised on how strong the joy-con's HD rumble was at the time when I was playing blaster master, lol. Wasn't used to a portable system to have rumble on it in general but then remembered "ah yeah...joycons are basically wii mote/controller hybrids that can detach. Cool stuff. At this point I was still thinking that nintendo was going to reintroduce the virtual console, put gamecube games on there, and I would be able to buy stuff like eternal darkness and have a portable version of fire emblem path of radiance..........man was I naive. For the past 2 years my switch was a gigantic dust magnet since I'm not really into the majority of nintendo's franchises like I used to be. I only really still like fire emblem, mario stuff, donkey kong country returns tropical freeze and xenoblade mario kart and smash aside. I only recently started booting the switch up again since I bought the booster course pass and legit like all the courses that got added to 8 deluxe. I recently got a steam deck so I plan on using that for all my retro gaming needs compared to paying nintendo's higher priced subscription fee. Practically all of my gaming is done on the PS5, and my steam deck is currently being used to play the indies that did not get ported to PSN yet and is being set up for emulation for all the consoles n' portables going up to the PS2 and gamecube/wii (When nintendo takes the 3DS eshop down later this month I am going to set up my new 3DS XL for custom firmware and sail the seven seas for all my DS and 3DS needs). I need to get around to putting the fan-translated tales of destiny director's cup on the steam deck. The switch is just my mario kart and fire emblem machine. I play mine exclusively docked now. Only use it when a new 1st party title I want comes out then it doesn't get used for months at a time.
