Because they have shamed the consumers into believing that it is their fault that the bosses are not paying their employees living wages. Yea, I'll tip as long as they are making 2.13 an hour or w/e, but i want their companies to pay them 15 bucks and then me not have to tip. I'll be honest: i tip less for carryout now than I used to. like a bar at a casino: im tipping 1 dollar per item and not more than that. i tip 15-20 % for a waiter. i tip $5 for pizza delivery, regardless of what i order. pizza hut is just ridiculously expensive for delivery. it costs like $40 to get 3 medium pizzas delivered. --- --- ...
