I've been here since like '03 and don't remember that. Board has (in my experience) mostly not given a fuck, and grown with the times.

I think a key part of that was enough board members are leaning further left.

Because in this day and age the topic "let's list things liberals do" would include "stand around and gape at the right wing takeover but otherwise do nothing about it".
