When paired with Maatta, he was playing the best hockey of his career and scoring a lot, he has a great precision wrister for a defender. Apparently Detroit tried to make a move for JVR but it was relying on another trade that didn't happen. Gonna see a lot of kids come up now, Soderblom should return, Edvinsson is likely taking Hronek's spot now, I don't see them trusting Hagg and Lindstrom going forward.
