I've always been mostly mostly indifferent of harry potter. I watched all the movies eventually and I liked them but they were nothing groundbreaking or revolutionary or anything. They were just fun watchable movies... like marvel. ... Copied to Clipboard!

Honestly, while the books did sell well and was ultimately the reason the movies were made, it was the movies themselves that made Harry Potter into a megahuge IP imo.
