That's impressive. I truly can't shiny hunt because even if the internet tells me something is definitively NOT shiny locked, after a few tries, I just assume they're wrong and give up

Took at least 3000 resets. Stopped counting after awhile. Stupid ADHD.

But the actual time spent was a lot longer. Casual resetting when I had time to took at least a month.

Yes....the grind.

It took me almost two years, but I got every single portal legend and ultra beast shiny in Ultra Moon.

The Mewtwo came after only six resets. That was awesome

Now if only Mew wasn't a HUGE pain in the ass to shiny hunt, I would do it.

I totally missed out on the 2021 PoGo shiny Mew :(

Are you sure?

Crystal didn't even release in Japan until late December 2000.

You needed a Japanese copy of Crystal, or a Gameshark for a shiny Celebi until like 2018.

If you have a Trainer Name of GF, and ID if 22796, you can use the Mew Glitch in Red and Blue, and you can get it to pass the checks

What should I go after next?

Honestly I would be fine with a Mew I couldn't bring over to Home.

I had the patience for a 1/8192 odds search. But a 1/65536 hunt for the 22796 ID then another one for the Mew would break me lol.

That shiny Jirachi in PoGo is made unnecessarily difficult to obtain. And you have to pay money for it.

It's they're begging people to buy a Hackmon on ebay.

So I decided to go ahead and start this hunt after phasing 3 times so far on shiny Swablu and ruby and started it on my crystal cartridge and just got my quickest ever shiny with only 379 encounters. This crystal file has been extremely generous to me with ho-oh, Lugia and suicune taking less then 2k encounters

Not in Gold/Silver.

Only Crystal, and only from the version of the game released to the 3DS eshop.

If you want one, better get it before the 3ds eshop closes March 27
