BotW has more gear in armor than any other in the series, and you'll want to collect the armor. Fair warning, upgrading armor requires farming components from all over the world, which can be tedious. Shrines are the stand in for dungeons. They're basically 1-2 room micro dungeons scattered all over the world. Durability isn't an issue unless you want it to be. Weapons break quick, but do double damage when thrown/broken, so slash slash smash is the way to go. And the game just buries you in weapons so you'll never run out. It really does help going into the game thinking of them as disposable. Also, get used to the d-pad for quick qeapon/shield/bow swapping. It's much faster and far less intrusive than menu surfing when a weapon breaks. Rain does indeed suck. More stamina helps with this, but usually you're better off trying to find somewhere to make a fire and pass time. On that note, start collecting wood and flint early. --- Only two things can end a Republican's career - a dead girl or a live boy. ... Copied to Clipboard!

FinalBraveNUT posted... Links awakening seems better since my buddy said there's no dungeons n the weapons breaking is annoying You'll be fine. Breath of the Wild is a different take on Zelda. Weapon durability becomes trivial when you have an idea where good weapons are located and you have a mass amount of them. The lack of dungeons does hurt it, but the number of shrines and things to explore more than make of for it --- I believe in the Golden Rule and you should too! http://i.imgur.com/63HCN.gif http://i.imgur.com/aaTUdOx.jpg ... Think of the traditional Zelda dungeons being broken apart into 120 puzzle and/or combat rooms and scattered all over the world. Plus the 4 divine beasts, which are about half the size of typical Zelda dungeons. All the "dungeon" content of a Zelda game is there (probably more tbh), it's just presented differently. And yeah durability is a nonissue. --- Only two things can end a Republican's career - a dead girl or a live boy. ... Copied to Clipboard!

Breath of the Wild? Yes. I like the Zelda lore and have played every single Zelda game (except the first 2). BotW has loads of Easter eggs and lore for people like me to enjoy and explore.
