I loved the adapter that let me play my GBA through the TV. So that was cool at least

I don't believe in belts. There should be no ranking system for toughness.

I don't have a GBA but I got that adaptor and disc for about 20 bucks Canadian like a decade ago. Worth it!

The only flaw of the GCN's library was not being as good as the PS2. The PS2 was the GOAT console at least compared to it's contemporaries for any gen. The GCN still had a much better library than the XBOX imo. The hardware is a legit critique of the GCN, but I don't think the library is one, so I'm baffled when someone lists that as a con against the GCN.
The GCNs library was better then the xbox but without online play it's games longevity was gutted. Which made it more glaring.

Youths with enough free time could run through all the above mentioned games within a few months at best. And those without friend's nearby for locale play made its party multi-player games worthless.

This is how it, the wii and wiiu ended up collecting dust in people's closets for years on end.

the gamecube is the definition of a middle of the road console. there was enough first party nintendo stuff for it to make sense to have one, but the third party library was about on par with xbox and worse than the ps2

unfortunately that, even more than the n64, set a precedent where that was pretty much all anyone has ever expected out of nintendo
