I guess, but mostly I just feel more...capable? Like little things like bounding up stairs, getting up from the floor, carrying stuff. And last weekend there was some altercation at the bar and I immediately jumped up to break it up without thinking and I don't think I've ever done that before.

I found the trick was finding a level of effort that wasn't hard to digest, so long as I could remain consistent. Habits before gains.

Good work, TC! Keep it up! Im also on a fitness journey since COVID. Weighed the most I ever have by January 2021. Decided to make a change, lost 75 lbs from then to November 2021, and Ive kept the weight off since.

now that Im skinny, I wanna get more muscle but I hate lifting weights lol. I just like bouldering. But def seeing results from that

What did u even do?

4x a week upper lower. Not too careful about macros but made sure to hit a steady protein target of around .8g per lb. Several cut bulk cycles.


I feel like after 3-6 months of minimal progress you should reevaluate ur diet and exercise regimen.

Put on around 20lbs of muscle, S/B/D - 70-240 / 50-180 / 90-400, went up two shirt sizes, went down a pants size

I'm happy with how things are going.

I don't exercise regularly, but I have a relatively physical job that requires a lot of standing and moving around. I don't have gains, but I keep weight off much easier. Helps to not eat fast food and calorie dense meals that often.

Thanks. What I've learned lately is humility. I'm 35 so I'm not trying to break records, but I've been learning the feeling of taking it easier on the weights and focusing on technique, slowing down the movements, etc.

I noticed that with weight lifting. I would also try one session of lifting light weights and angry when I didn't see anything the next day.
