I got a Mila. By the numbers some older buildings in Chicago are worse. Right now the AQI is not that bad but their is an ongoing burning smell that makes me uneasy. It has been over an hour and the building is not burning. Just to be safe I keep checking.

I finally opened my door. My favored guess is that it comes from the sewers. My second guess is someone is taking advantage of how Chicago landlords place the keys on the fence and are dumping stuff in the basement.

For example dudes with trucks drive slowly down the alley and pick through junk. It may be more profitable to dump stuff.

Any guesses? CO2 was 800+ over the weekend and VOC also got that high.

BTW Mila is a smart air purifier which warns you of pollutants.
