Russia said on Sunday that Ukraine was planning to stage a nuclear incident on its territory to pin the blame on Moscow ahead of a United Nations meeting, without providing evidence for the accusation.
Since the start of its invasion of Ukraine nearly a year ago, Russia has repeatedly accused Kyiv of planning "false flag" operations with non-conventional weapons, using biological or radioactive materials. No such attack has materialized.

Bullshit, Russia.

99% of what Russia accuses Ukraine of is something Russia is in the process of doing, or about to do. I think this is another thinly veiled nuclear threat but a desperate Russia is dangerous.

My point isn't to scare people. My point is saying "WW3 will never happen" is fucking disingenuous in the extreme and that the current happenings in Ukraine could 100% be a precursor. If people want to bury their heads in the sand and pretend that an unstable dictator with a nuclear arsenal and nothing to lose isn't an international threat that's on them. Should people be scared? Who fucking knows? But pretending bad shit isn't happening is literally step 1 appeasement.

I dunno man... One thing the Russian army *IS* good at is killing and raping civilians. Look at what they did to Chechnya, Aleppo, and now Ukraine. China doesn't give a shit. Lots of countries don't give a shit if they get cheap oil and gas. I wish our country would be tougher on China for tacitly supporting Putin but we have to keep getting those precious iPhones and Happy Meal toys and whatever else we import from them.

So I'm doubting if dropping a tactical nuke would change much. It would increase the resolve of NATO but our sanctions don't appear to be destroying the Russian economy like we were led to believe.

If it's made to any modern (aka US and most European standards) it has a bunch of fail safes to prevent a meltdown

but it's Russia, so those can probably go away with enough effort.

Wouldn't any nuclear fallout drift in to Russia anyway?

Not to give Russia any credit, but it is possible that some anti-Russia peeps could get a wild hair up their ass and try to pull something at the detriment to themselves and whoever else. War brings out the worst in all kinds of people regardless of what side

Yeah I dont believe from this incident we will see nukes, but I dont believe nukes are entirely off the table in the longer run
