But even beyond that, the thing it reminds me of more than anything is a really bad fanfiction (which it basically is, it wasn't even written by Rowling, she just signed off on it) starring all of the kids of characters from the original movie. But all of them are really lame. It gives off the vibes of like the last season of Scrubs where they replaced the whole cast and the original people became supporting characters, but you don't really care about any of the new people.
