I like how strong they made Tony in those games. -Takes no fall damage. -Immediately recovers and resumes any time he falls off his board. -Unlimited stamina. -Can spawn objects and lifeforms in from nowhere for the purpose of performing special tricks. -Leaving the skate area or landing in what would be a killplane in any other game will only warp him back to safety. -Has the charisma to pacify and recruit almost anyone he encounters to his skating team. -Goes around the world destroying things in THUG 2 and faces no repercussions. --- Still waiting on that third threat ... [LFAQs-redacted-quote] No, they greenlit Tony Hawk 3+4 because Tony Hawk 1+2 sold well. But then Activision couldnt help being Activision and took Vicarious Visions and threw them into the Call of Duty dev dungeon forever. They then shopped 3+4 around to a bunch of studios but didnt like their pitches so they just canceled it.
