Wtf is wrong with some of the people in here. The idea of a vtuber is weird as fuck sure but they don't deserve to be trolled/harassed

Frankly it's easier to sympathize with them than it would be a regular youtuber cause they're probably Vtubers for a reason whether it's low self-esteem or whatever

Voice augmentations are surprisingly uncommon, at least around the bigger vtuber.

Face reveals and whatnot are often requested, most honestly just don't care. It's just a streamer anyway.

End of the day it's another layer of anonymity on the Internet is all, a lot of them simply want to stream and not be harassed irl if they make it.

How much streaming per week does your friend put in? A lot of people think streaming is EZ bucks but most of the people who make the big bucks put in an insane amount of time streaming.

I don't know, but I do know he invested a lot into it and luckily came off pretty successful. Most of the money he makes is from his partnership on twitch, sponorships, and merch. He also makes decent amount of money from subs and donation, though he doesn't rely on them because of how inconsistent it can be.

Honestly, not many people will remember or care about this in a few months time. It's just the outrage of the day basically. It probably ruined a lot of smaller careers which sucks, but bigger ones will likely apologize and continue on. Dunno, it's all kinda pointless because anyone who should be feeling the consequences won't in the end.

Some people are even conspiracy theorizing that she was forced into it, even though she was clearly happy to announce it on her stream and it wouldnt be the first time shes lewded herself. Supposedly she had to fight for this merch to exist.

Honestly, if you have a model or even a body that can be mistaken as a childs, you need to treat it as such since it'd be an outlet for disturbing stuff. So that pillow shouldn't even be legal.

Well you're not Verdun, but if that's the case, then it's really weird to prop them as "cutesy innocent lets players". They're both professionals. One a professional video editor, the other a professional actress/comedian. The content they produce on YouTube is certainly meant to be cutesy, but it's scripted and curated.

It's their act and their business.

It's a good act, certainly, but trying to pretend that this act is who they are as people in order to defend them is weird.

They're both Internet-present adults. I'm not trying to call them out as bad people, but they received feedback when they announced they were streaming the game. Then they, like all noble gamers, proceeded to make their excuses as to why it's okay for them to do it.

Would have been more honest to just say that they needed to make their content in order to eat.

And I'm not going to say they deserve harassment. I just think this propping them up is pretty dishonest.
