If you insist on that definition/description (unresolved trauma) I'd point out that in most depictions he does give significant donations while also wanting people to fear him (and even here, it's not JUST fear him, he wants them to fear him so they stop doing the bad thing). Think of it like this, most incarnation of batman do not stop this career even when they are older. That shows some obsession. I think a therapist would tell him to put his trust, funds, and weapons to the police. Also, for him to pick up some hobby. What does Bruce Wayne likes to do? Also, I believe there was a point where wonder woman had the lasso of truth around batman and Superman that when ask what their real name was, Superman responded normally and Batman said Batman.
