As someone with ADHD the new and novel is an important reason for me to act and motivate myself. That said that isn't necessarily a negation towards not buying new games when others exist. --- Surely if I stick up for rich people on the Internet I'll eventually get a sweet job offer from them, right? ... The sad part is I'm willing to spend $70 (or even more, should I go for the CE) on a game I don't even think I'm going to like based on its predecessor. Its impossible to play all the new great games. Theres hundreds of great games from years ago I havent played yet that are heavily discounted or were free monthly games from PS Plus. The next games up for me to play are: Slay the Spire Horizon Zero Dawn God of War (newer) Im dying to play Elden Ring, but itll be a couple years until I have a PS5.
