I know the news is everywhere online

but it seems like it never happened when I watch the news on TV. checked all the major outlets and nothing reported.

Maybe later it will become bigger news?

It's a story that should be like a million times more covered than it is.

Absolutely something fishy going on here that its not being covered more when this is like, a potentially cataclysmic story unfolding here.

Add in that Norfolk Southern has a history of ignoring safety protocols, forcing trains to be understaffed and its staff overworked, and recently fought against more safety precautions being implemented.

This is a story that would unfold in a law-movie where a scrappy underdog topples the giant conglomerate that is ****ing over people, and it isn't being covered nearly to the extent that it should.

It's being covered by all the major news websites.

I have a theory but could very well be true, main stream media dont care to cover this story because no body died. Yes people will get ill and die from long term effects but no one died from the trainwreck itself thats not a good story, cover the Super Bowl team

The national media has just scratched the surface on this. Apparently the RR, after the crash lit the chemical on fire in a moronic attempt to "burn it off". This may have created additional hazardous chemicals that they are currently not testing for.

The shit's gotten into the Ohio River and people are reporting dead fish and birds.

West Virginia has enhanced water treatment at facilities drawing from the river.

Meanwhile, Ohio sent the residents back home to face whatever chemical cocktail is awaiting them.

This appears to be a fiasco of colossal proportions.
