MZero 02/08/23 9:00:44 PM #1:	RULES GENERAL 1. Mafia is a game of the uninformed majority (the TOWN), against the informed minority (the MAFIA/SCUM). It is the towns job to eradicate the mafia completely, and the mafias job to survive to a point where numbers are such that they cannot lose. 2. The town eliminates the mafia via lynches, which occur once a day. Everyone gets one vote which they may place on whoever they feel is scum. Whoever receives the most votes is lynched, and removed from the game. 3. During the night phase, the mafia gets its chance to even the numbers slightly by killing one townie, removing them from the game. All power roles (under most circumstances) also get to perform their actions. 4. The game ends when one faction meets its victory condition. A player will win, even if they are dead, so long as their alignment triumphs. VOTING 1. You vote in the format ##Vote: Player, in bold. You can remove your vote by posting ##Unvote, also in bold. You can also choose to ##Vote: No Lynch. 2. The lynch is decided on a plurality system. Once one player receives votes from most of the playership left in the game, the day immediately ends, and that player is lynched. Failing that, every day has a time limit of 48 hours. The player in the lead at that point will be lynched. 3. In the event that two or more players are tied in votes at the end of the day, sudden death will occur. A thirty minute extension will begin once indicated by the host, and only the tied players may be voted for, or unvoted. The moment one player emerges as the vote leader, the day immediately ends, and they will be lynched. If there is no change after thirty minutes, the day will end with No Lynch. 4. The only exception to this is in the case of a No Lynch. It only has to be tied for the lead at the end of the day to assume priority. 5. You may not vote for yourself. ROLES 1. Before the game begins, you will receive your role from the host. This will contain your flavour name/character, your alignment, and your role, as well as some flavour text explaining your character and role. You must read this before playing the game. 2. You must keep this role text to yourself. Sharing it with anyone else within or outside of the topic will lead to your immediate modkill, as well as possibly anyone who sees it. 3. You may choose to reveal your role in-game, but you must do so in a paraphrased format. Mario and Luigi were hanging out at home, doing whatever it is two adult brothers who live together do in their free time, when they heard a familiar voice from outside. Mail call! Luigi rushed outside to collect the mail, disappointed to find a single letter and no sign of the new mustache comb he ordered weeks ago. However, the letter was from the one and only Princess Peach, inviting them to a party at the castle. With nothing better to do and hoping to get some sweets, the brothers set off for the castle. After some mingling with the toads, Mario made his way up to Princess Peachs room, hoping to get some of that delicious cake. Suddenly, the ground started shaking and the castle was lifted into the air. Bowser came crashing through the window in his clown car, accompanied by Kammy Koopa. Filled with confidence from years of coming out on top against Bowser, Mario jumped into action but something was different this time. With the power of the Star Rod, Mario was powerless against the mighty king and easily defeated. He was flung to the ground below, failing to defeat his nemesis and save the princess from being captured. But if theres anything we know about Mario, its that he wont give up that easily! Kirby321 02/09/23 2:09:23 AM #30:	Okay, so it seems the flavor is based on Paper Mario 64. Do Close Call and Power Rush badges exist in that game? If so, we can bribe Chet Rippo to reduce HP to 5, stack those badges, and then we've got an easy path to the endgame. Even better if this is Thousand-Year Door meta, but then we might have to consider adding P-Up D-Down P and such to make our partners really good. Given that we're dealing with an entire team of scum, I'd personally suggest Yoshi Kid since he can dish out good amounts of AoE and single-target damage and gains a lot from attack boosts, especially with Power Lift. We'll have to make sure to swap out to Goombella once we bring scum back down to their last man standing, since Multibonk will be essential for a swift and easy victory. Oh, and we shouldn't forget to equip Mario with Power Bounce, either! Maybe toss in a Spike Shield and Ice Power just in case we're dealing with Koopatrols or Embers/Lava Bubbles. Thank goodness we're not dealing with Sticker Star meta here.
