The free speech argument in this context is kinda silly. Am I utilizing my free speech? Sure, the government can't prevent me from saying what I want to say in my guide, but technically the site can. Of course for that to happen, there would need to be a case of me breaking the rules of the site within what I've written, and if there are any takers as to how I've done that, I'm all ears. The HTML guides were a huge upgrade imo. Not just because it's easier to navigate but the writers can put actual photos and screenshots in and not have to rely on those ASCII arts like the old style guides. Tbh, I kinda feel this topic should have been locked as soon as people used their personal vendettas to attack Cyric. It's one thing to discuss contributions, but it's another thing to openly mock/harass someone for them. Contributions keep this site alive, but for the most part, people do these contributions for very little in return. It's not going to be a stable source of income (you're only going to win once a month at best for FAQ of the month, which I don't know if they are even giving out atm), so people gain little by doing these. Allowing people to attack people for their contributions on this site should not be an acceptable practice. So God bless you, the internet of 20 years ago. You weren't better in every way, but better for having these amazing examples of creativity, love, and the indomitable spirit of man. A spirit that looked at the title of a game and whispered, "I bet you could recreate that using commas."
