I only know of one so far, Sirona Ryan from the game Hogwarts Legacy. Are there other triple A games with similar trans representation?

oh word? I didnt know that, probably gonna go buy it to support the devs for being inclusive much like with Hogwarts Legacy. We should honestly support more devs like these if we care at all about trans representation in mainstream culture

Not a character really but you can make a trans character in saints row 2 and cyberpunk. And technically any female character you make in saints row 2 and forward is trans if you consider they could only be male in the first game and canonically they are the same person all games.

I remember first time I played saints row 2 I based my characters looks on jefree Starr.

yea I figure there are games like that where they let the player character trans, which is still pretty cool imo. But I was thinking more of a traditional fictional character where the writers come up with how that character is going to be instead of your decision doing so.

not too prominent, but one of the people you do some missions for in Watch Dogs 2.

maybe more than one person, but it's been a while.

The only decision you make is if they are or not. Other than that they ain't blank slate characters like a Bethesda rpg.

But there is Bridgette from guilty gear who recently got confirmed as trans. Which is weird cause she used to always hate when people called her girl. But it also makes more sense cause if she hated it so much why did she continue to dress like one? Backstory was parents raised her as one due to a superstition of twins being born the same sex was bad.

Then there's poison who it's been debated forever if she's trans or not but it's been alluded to in a game before. Well before people lost their shit and had the dialogue removed from the game. Like street fighter x tekken Kuma (a bear) says "you don't smell like a woman. And Chun li says "you don't fight like a woman.

Not trans but there is a cross dressing elf in witcher 3. He says he's not into men or anything like that. Forget his reasoning for cross dressing though. He wouldn't be counted as prominent though. He's importantish to one mainline quest.

Hogwarts Legacy. Highly recommended if you are an ally.

I've always wondered about Kuja as well.

Kaine from Nier, maybe. Never been quite sure what they were. Either was just intersex, or was something like a male spirit stuck in a female body.

Yeah one of my gripes about cyberpunk was only one voice option for both male and female and if you gave the opposite to which sex you chose it kills your romance options. Guess trans people are still hated in the year 2077 when altering ones body is all the rage.

Then again I didn't see this as problematic cause as stated body modification is huge in that world so altering ones voice to their preferred gender is probably easy and likely a cheaper cyber upgrade.

But yeah your character has a defined personality and story for the most part. You choose a background which is largely meaningless outside the intro mission and some dialogue choices through out the game.

From what I read she's apparently prominently featured in the early game, think of it like a key mission giver in GTA games like Ryder, that would fit the definition of prominent I think
